Video DIGITAL Express train - DivX
DivX is a process of Compression and decompression of file called also codec DivX. DivX also indicates films encodés according to this process.
Compressed according to standard MPEG-4, video files' can thus preserve a quality close to that of the DVD (the its associate at the images is coded in MP3) and their size allows the storage of a whole film on only one CD. This coding can apply to supports of the type CD-R or CD-RW; all the video files thus coded have then, the advantages of the less bulky files. N.B. Any safeguard or copies of a video file in DivX is subjected to the code of the intellectual property.
