Vectoriser - Vectorize
Vectoriser an image on a computer consists in redrawing all the layouts which make it up, by the intermediary of a software making it possible to use the vectors (vector: segment of right-hand side directed on which one clicks to define a point of origin
The advantage of a vectorized drawing is that one can increase it without it undergoing degradation, the vectorial lines being created by formulas mathematical and recomputed with each change of size. The logos for example are primarily drawn in vectorial form, in order to be able to print them in high definition with all the sizes. The software most used for the creation of vectorial images is Adobe Illustrator, or Macromédia flash, but there exists about it much of different. By opposition, the images bitmap are made up only of one whole of pixels. Generally, redimensionner an image bitmap degrades it.
