Skype
Software P2P allowing to pass from the calls free, by using a connection Internet.
Skype is a free software developed by the editor of famous Kazaa, software of file sharing using technology P2P (Skype also uses this technology). Once registered, each user can discuss with an other Net surfer using to him also this software. Audio quality is excellent since the Net surfer lays out of a connection high flow (standard ADSL). Skype also makes it possible to send files or to discuss by instantaneous transport. All the exchanges carried out by Skype are encrypted. Skype is available for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux as well as the PDA functioning under Pocket PC. SkypeOut, a paying option of Skype, makes it possible to call fixed telephones (since a computer) at a cost quite lower than the traditional cost practised by the operators telecom.
