Robert Doisneau
French photographer born in 1912 in Gentilly (suburbs of Paris), died in 1994 in Montrouge (with the doors of Paris)
Robert Doisneau began his professional life as engraver before testing himself with photography and more precisely with the photo advertising executive. In 1930, it integrates the Renault Control on the site of Boulogne-Billancourt for which it will carry out industrial stereotypes for the publicity campaigns of the cars of the mark. A new life starts then for him. It is impassioned for the simple life of the people of modest means and the small people of Paris. It was very quickly distinguished for its photographic art and obtained the most beautiful rewards: price Kodak in 1947, Niepce price in 1956, national Price of the Photograph in 1983, Balzac Price in 1986.
