 Propagation of the DNS 

Definition

Time of taking into account of a change in the configuration of the DNS.

Description

When that a change is carried out on pointers DNS, it is necessary a certain time so that this change is communicated to all waiters DNS of planet. This phenomenon is called "propagation of the DNS". The typical change is the change of address IP of the waiter which lodges the site.
