The virtual Community.
Description
Orkut is a virtual community of which the goal is to connect its members by the means of their friends and people that they know. This type of relational network is indicated by the English term "social networking". One of the originalities of Orkut is its mode of adhesion on invitation only: a person can join the community only if it is invited to do it by a person already member. Orkut was launched in January 2004. Its design is the fruit of the work of Orkut Buyukkokten, an employee of the Google company.
