Local Google
Definition
Google Local is a program which uses Google technology for research of proximity. ex: to find a deliveryman of pizza pie in a given perimeter.
Description
Research is carried out as follows: the user enters the name of a service or a local company associated a precise perimeter (city, district or street name). If the terms are not precise enough, Google then suggests a list of possible places for this request. Google associates its technology seeks with that of Yellow Pages to provide a chart (plan or satellite image with the choice) on which is indicated the various found addresses. A summary list of the addresses appears on the right of the chart. It is also possible to visualize a route while leaving or bound for the selected place. The way is then marked on the chart with the detail of the streets and distances covered.
