Definition
The euroligue is the cut of the most prestigious Europe of basketball on the European continent.
Description
Euroligue is the most important competition of club of basketball in Europe, it gathers 24 teams of which champions in title of all the European countries. This competition is half-closed. Indeed, certain clubs have a assured place during a few years. A first turn proceeds in the form of hen of 8 teams, in match return ticket. At the end of this first turn the 16 better teams are divided into 4 groups, it is what one calls SIGNAL 16. Until 2004, the winners of the 4 groups were qualified for the Final Furnace (finale with four). From now on, the 4 first meet the 4 second into 1/4 of finale to reach the Final Furnace, which is held in a city defined by advance. Only victorious French of this competition was the CSP Limoges in 1993. In 2007, the panatinaikos of Athens gained the edition in residence in a final of anthology vis-a-vis with the CSKA Moscow.
