Cryptology
Definition
Cryptology is the science of the secrecy. It is divided into two branches: Cryptography to quantify, and Cryptanalyse to decipher.
Description
With the plethora of means of communication, cryptology today is abundantly used to make safe the data exchanges (banks, telephony, etc). A good knowledge of the weaknesses of the algorithms used is also necessary to limit the consequences of them. One thus should not confuse, as it is often the case, cryptology and Cryptographie : the first includes the other but it is not summarized there.
