Canonical URL
The official address of a Web page, that which it is preferable to use to reach the corresponding contents.
To define a canonical URL is the method adopted by Google to avoid the doubled blooms in the results of research and to reduce the data processing. The objective is to avoid treating different addresses separately corresponding, in fact, in the same page. The way in which this technique is implemented currently utilized PageRank and possibly the type of redirection. It functions generally well, but it does not guarantee in an unquestionable way that contents are actually allotted to its author.
