DefinitionProject defining a format of representation of contents structured in XML and a protocol of edition of these contents. DescriptionIn the past called "Echo", the Atom project was thus renamed on September 30, 2003 for legal questions.
Atom aims to allow the Syndication of contents between various Web resources, to define API access to the contents (addition, reading, modification, suppression), and to guarantee an interworking and a maximum safety.
