AdSense
Textual advertising bonds provided by Google
AdSense are textual advertising bonds such as those which appear on the line in the pages of results of Google (AdWords). The choice of the advertisements to be posted on a given page is made in a completely automatic way by the AdSense system, which determines the context of each page. AdSense publicities use the advertising formats recommended by professional associations like the IAB: vertical provisions (160*600 and 120*240), integrated banners (125*125), rectangles (250*250 or 336*580), format with only one advertisement (180*150), etc The interest for the editor of the site (the owner) is to increase its incomes thanks to the diffusion of publicities, and for the advertiser of touching more many people. Since the beginning of 2003, Google proposed with the anglophone sites to diffuse AdSense publicities. Since the end of November 2003, AdSense are accessible to the nonanglophone sites (for the moment: French, Spanish, Italian and German in addition to English).
