Algebra
Definition
The algebra is the branch of mathematics which seeks to solve problems while utilizing letters representing of the sizes or the variable or unknown numbers.
Description
Until the 19th century, the algebra was interested mainly in the methods of resolution of equations and systems of equations. From the twentieth century, the concept of algebra also extends being studied from the structure of the sets and the properties of the operations which act on the elements of these sets.
